History

Two of the founders, Chris Williams and TJ Tryon, previously owned their own technical consulting business. Having been friends and colleagues for many years, they recognized the skills they each possessed. In a time when technical businesses were struggling, they realized that it was time to bring together their respective skills under one organization to not only stabilize their presence in the market they served, but, more importantly, to better serve their clients by offering more business services, a wider range of technology solutions and greater access to the technologies a client would need to keep their business growing.

The Lighthouse in 'Lighthouse Consulting Group', draws on an obvious analogy of real lighthouses. The founders envisioned being leaders in the IT market, able to guide business safely through the treacherous waters that is the every day grind. That, and TJ, being from the great North East, is extremely fond of Lighthouses.
